Hi!

I'm hoping someone can answer these quesyions for me. My husband will be being released from East Moline and I have a couple questions:

1. What time is release time, 0900?

2. Do I have to check in as if I were going to visit or will he be able to just walk out to where I am parked?

If anyone has these answers, I would appreciate you letting me know.

Thanks,

Rick-

I'm hoping you can help me out here. How does the release process at EMCC go? I should be there by 0745, right? Inmates are released right after count clears, right? Do I wait outside of the gates or do I have to check in? Do I park in the lot or on the street? Please help.... thanks.

When you arrive at EMCC, go to the gatehouse and tell them you are picking up you loved one. Arrive at 8:00am as releases with rides are released by 9:00am.

As far as I know the only offenders that are restricted from EMCC are sex offenders. Although we had a priest there for a while. He was in the medical unit for PC purposes.

Would anyone know how to get medical records from East Moline once the inmate is released?

Send a letter to Andrea Lashbrook, Health Care Unit Administrator. She can help you. Might cost a little, like .10 per page.

Greyhound/private charter is the only service to East Moline. Good luck!

It took my husband well over 10 days to call me from East Moline.  I know they don't have a lot of phones (I'm not sure where your guy is in East Moline) and if you end up with the one crappy one, it will crackle the entire coversation.  (I think my guy was in D wing)

I hope by now that he has called.

I know cut off for the phones is 10:30 pm (usually about 10 minutes earlier)

Good luck and if you need to know anything, I will try to help - Rick really helped me with EM questions too  wc1

Internal Affairs at EMCC do the PIN numbers for the phones. They are slow. It took me three weeks to get my PIN. There are 2 phones on each dorm. B, C, D wings have 4 phones. A wing and Seg have 2. The phones stay on until 10pm unless you are a porter and then you get them until 1030pm. You can do three ways from EMCC. They monitor very little there but record digitally every call.

I hope this helps.
