, I know exactly what you're talking about. We called it a cock in a condom as that is just what it looks like.
I also forgot:
Kick the bobos-hang out and talk Banana suit-yellow jumpsuit used for transportation On the new-new inmates, guys would always yell it out when someone did something clumsy like drop a stack of trays in the chow hall. Juice card-getting something a lot inmates cannot obtain "I'm getting transferred up outta here to work release, I used my juice card"

Another one Liz just used : Ring out. "I don't want my name ringing out. If you have me called to the Warden's Office my name wil be ringing out and I can't get any rhythym. Meaning I don't want my name known so I can get things done easier.

Some of these words come from the south and west side culture of Chicago and Ive heard a few waiting for visits at Cook County also.
Mean muggin' - Making mean or antagonizing faces or gestures to someone Government name - I heard this used by an undocumented inmate, the Government of Illinois thinks he has one name that he is charged under, but thats not his real name... Weight pit - is the gym? Man up - take sides before a fight Get your money - I think all those "money" terms stem from "money-shot" in a porn movie. I wont say more. Popped - busted or caught. ie., "The cop turned the corner and popped me right there!" Stinger - Guys take an extension cord and paperclips and connect them and drop them into their cup of water to heat the water extra hot for noodles or coffee. Wolf - When a guy is mad and pacing and swearing and yelling, usually right before a fight. Blow your wig back - kill someone
And my favorites: Snow bunny or "Becky". There are not so many white younger women going to the County to visit, and the guys yell this out to me...I guess "Becky" is like a generic white girl name? It makes me laugh every time!

Dry snitch- telling something out loud or saying something out loud for the CO to hear it. The snitch then says well I didn't tell the CO so I really didn't snitch.

I mentioned this in another thread.
"HO Case" In women's prisons, that is someone who is serving the minimum 61 days. "She's a ho case." Many times women convicted of prostitution get 1 year terms & end up with 61 days.
My wife mentioned a new one yesterday. "You gettin' funny?" If you act differently than your community is used to. This most often applies, at her place to women who are getting out soon and start to withdraw. Of course, gettin funny can lead to the "sh*tty shorts."

That reminded me of the introduction to a song called "Baby Got Back" by Sir Mix Alot.... Quoted from: http://everything2.com/title/Baby%2520Got%2520Back"Oh, my, god. Becky, look at her butt. It is so big. She looks like, one of those rap guys' girlfriends. But, y'know, who understands those rap guys? They only talk to her, because, she looks like a total prostitute, 'kay? I mean, her butt, is just so big. I can't believe it's just so round, it's like, out there, I mean - gross. Look! She's just so ... black!
— Introduction to Baby got Back
The song opens with a monotonous yet insistent synth-bass line, and the above introduction, read in a deliberate white/valley girl voice, and is followed immediately by Mix-a-Lot's bold style and a number of bright orchestra hit samples. His Sirness delivers verse after verse on the merits of the stereotypical black female ass while at the same time decrying the form of the slender woman"So I guess Becky could be a reference to a white female.

My guy told me this one in his last letter: Hit a lit to my biggest fan.
Any guesses?

Are you sure it wasn't "hit a lick"? That means he masturbated thinking of/looking at someone.

'hit a lick' - in the streets means to come up off something.
"man, I'm hurting.. I need to hit a lick" It's basically to rob, steal, take, find..etc.
"Where did you get all those gold rings?" "Oh, I hit a lick"
I've never heard it used in any other way.

"Put me in the car"...meaning, "Hook me up with one of your ladies friends/sisters/etc." I heard that one the other day, and I couldnt help but laugh. Definitely a new one for me.

Does anyone know what lick is? It was in a letter my friend has. It was a guy in doc writing a guy that got out. He said "you still doing the lick, that's bad stuff". I have been searching everywhere to find out what it is. I never thought to ask here.

I dont know what "lick " mean in prison but I do know that out on the streets it means a come up. Like if you about to do some dirt or if you won the lottery you just hit a lick.

We thought maybe it had to do with drugs. But we can't find anyone that knows what it is.
