I, too, thank you for posting. It is great to hear that some CO's actually care how these prisoners are treated. Where my son is--they seem ok. I have seen them joke with the prisoners and even give them low spoken advice to stop doing something.  99% of them are great so it makes the visit enjoyable instead of on edge as I have read at other prisons.   The only thing that makes me sad and I am sure there is a reason. Their children come in but the prisoner is not allowed to hug or hold them.  That seems so sad to me. They don't understand why daddy cannot hold them so maybe they feel rejected.
