My cousin was sentenced to LWOP in 1996.  He has been in locked up since 1994.  He was 22.  I'm his only family.  I hope his appeals eventually work and he is given his freedom back.

No posts here in a while, but I thought I would still send my love, prayers and admiration to those with loved ones serving long term sentences.  My l/o didn't find me until 7 and a half years into his 10 year sentence, so the wait is not so long. He was abandoned by almost everyone at the beginning (he was looking at 55 years), so I am so happy I can be here for him now and after he comes home. Keep doing what you're doing everyone. They need us in that dark place they're in, and for most of them, we are their only light. God Bless You all!! wc6
