The awarding of good time at the very beginning of a sentance has been stopped. An inmate must be in IDOC custody for a minimum of 61 days before good time is even considered.

OK, I think I understand now...they MAY still get the 6 months good time, but, they have to have been there for over 61 days before they are credited for it?  I'm sorry I am asking so many questions on this just so many rumors going around, my lo and I were curious.  Thanks for the answers, and please keep me updated it anyone hears anything about this topic!
