Mrs.Habben, People here on IPT have been dealing with the rumor mill regarding MGT since it was cancelled. There's no way to stop rumors. That's why they are called rumors. People start rumors on purpose and/or are misinformed themselves and then pass that misinformation on to our LO's. All you can do is keep tuned into IPT. When MGT comes back, Mah and Dazz (the admins) will be the FIRST to announce it right on the front page! Until then, everything that inmates are being told is sort of like the tin can phone game; one person says something and the next person passes it on and before you know it the end result there's wildfire. It's frustrating to say the least but my hubby has come to accept that until he hears word from either the actual news reporting the Gov. has signed it or from me (getting the info from the website) that everything he hears is rumor and not to excited about it. Just tell your LO to hang in there and not to believe everything he hears! Mah said it best, short and sweet, in the post just before your comment.

My husband is in Sheridan.  I visit him weekly and every week he has "heard something" about MGT coming back.  I feel so bad when I have to tell him it's just rumor - he says he hears it from guards and other inmates.  Like many of you, I scour the internet for the latest on the restoration and have heard no specifics.

I do have a question about release dates though.  He was supposed to be released on March 5, 2011 under the MGT plan.  He signed some paper stating he has 120 days left (back around Valentine's Day) and told me June 4th...this week he said it's the 29th now.  How do they calculate the 120 days?  Do they count weekends?  Who do I talk to to get a real honest to God date?  I never seem to know what the heck is going on and when I call - everyone is oblivious.  ANY HELP/support would be great!!!...THANK YOU!!!  I am so grateful for this site - it has helped me a lot over the last few years.

I know when I log on if I don't see a dancing clown MGT is not back yet. The admins promised a dancing clown avatar when it returns.

(seriously though, I do look for it)

Yesterday when I visited my son he told me to pray the MGT is restored.  He knows it's not back, but did confirm there are many rumors going around.  He told me that he never listens to any of the rumors because he knows the information I give him is accurate.  He just prays it comes back, as all of do.

Whether MGT is restored or not, I'm personally hoping to not ever see a dancing clown... anywhere/anytime!  Clowns are, well, just creepy. Let's have a dancing hot sexy man, ballerina, or fireworks!!  Just a little suggestion Dazz... :)

First  wc12  to IPT, I trully understand because I heard that same conversation today, I look at him and listen to what he hears and I say nothing because to bring them to our reality is hard for them to grasp, so I don't. My grandmother " if tongue won't tell it time will" so dont worry they will get the full screen soon

Mah:   I thought the petition had been sent.... Are we resending it?  Did anything ever happen or was there even a response from the Gov's office?  I stopped rallying people because I thought it was a done deal... If you have an update please let me know.. Thanks a bunch!

Joy Turner...Paula Carballido secured a sponsor for the stranded MGT bills today. Rep. Rita Mayfield will be seeing these bills through the House. We should have more news by the 31st. Please call your Rep and ask them to vote yes when these bills come up for vote on the house floor. They are SB 1338, 1341, 1560, 1562. Thanks for you help!
