:wc188:  Well i am on my way....... but i see that some don't believe the board okay... but the rumors can be all over the state of IL, but until Gov. Pat Quinn signature is all over the dotted line, it is not coming back. Remember no one was sure that Gov. Quinn was going to abolish the death penalty until he sign it. This is not different. You can go to the legislative website and see the bill in person and things that was sent to the gov. to sign. Please as i  have said before don't frustrate yourself with rumors.

What is the website?  Are you talking about Illinois General Assembly? I can never find what I am looking for on there.

welcome smiley, yes that is what i am talking about. did you type in good time in the search engine? it also shows what went to the gov for signature. Did you look on IDOC website under MGT/SMGT. Call the GoV Quinn's office and they will tell you also. I Quinn office says it as them where can you read it in writing. Then please post. The bills most of us was concern with is SB1560, and SB1562 you can find those by searching Illinois General Assembly. One of the House Rep is not going to complete is term, dont know who will take over in the fall by may be a key player.

Hello Rottie, Thanks. That is what I have been doing for the last 2 months. I can view votes, actions, meetings, etc., but I am new to all of this.  Where does it tell me what has been sent to Quinn for signature? On the IDOC site the mgt/smgt link just shows me a impact list in a pdf.  I have not called Quinn's office yet, I should. I feel that I do not know enough.

Nothing has been sent to Quinn, because the bills never passed and the legislatures are on summer break now.

No, it won't start where it ended in the fall.   These will be killed in committee, they are probably done.

yes, we start from square one..ugh...it really stinks..i have tons of things to write to committee about and some of my friends higher up, about new ways that may turn heads, BUT, it is taking me forever to get it all wrote up ..thank god for criminal justice school...lol...but yes, back to square one, things have to meet all requirements for IDOC AND the STATE..considering everyone keeps butting heads it is hard telling how long this could take..and will take..

M, who doesn't really care since he won't get MGT if it returns, asked last night about the status because rumors are going crazy at BMR. He told his "friends" that he would ask someone who actually had a clue, and then questioned what IPT was saying about the subject.
