My l/o was telling me last night that someone told him that there is a company that they (inmates) can order things from and the $ being taken from their account? Has anyone heard of this or if you have do you know what the company is?

There are sites that they can order from to send GIFTS to people on the outside, but nothing really for themselves.  The only thing I know of, some prisons allow them to order art supplies from Blick, cassettes also from the sites we have listed.

I am not sure, but the site/s they can order GIFTS from are probably listed on IPT, I would have to do a search and I am sure someone will be along with more information.

I don't know about all illinois prisons, but, Menard also allows inmates to order from Koss (headphones and earbuds) as well as Blick.  Those are the only places other than the cassette places that mah spoke of that i've ever been made aware of.  From what i've found out, it seems that if they can get the items on commisary, they can order from the company that supplies the items to commisary.  The prison has order forms for any places that the inmates can order from.. atleast Menard does.
