That was lucky for you to get information over the phone like that, usually IDOC does not give information to  anyone. Maybe it is best to definitely write to your loved one and explain the difference in information you received and see what he writes back. C grade does take away phone privileges unfortunately. As well if I am not mistaken they are given a sheet that states their "grade" timeline. So maybe they gave him the incorrect or predetermined information.

Really?? I call Dixon all the time they tell me everything. Well I don't ask stuff that I thought they couldn't tell me. I have never had a problem with Dixon........ I don't call IDOC b/c I never get a straight answer from them so I don't waste my time.

I am sorry when I wrote "IDOC" I meant like all the prisons within the State.. I didn't mean Springfield. But I am surprised they told you, but I hope soon you and your lo will be able to reconnect again. I know it sucks when you don't hear from your lo...  I am happy for you that your lo will be home soon.. and all this will be over for you!! We are all waiting for our day.. =)

I am a lil shocked that they do tell me as much as they do. Hopefully this will be the last time I or any of us have to go though this I wish I knew about ITP when he was in County. ITP truly is a blessing!!!!
