My boyfriend is in Logan until July 11, 2012. Two days ago he filled out his parole papers.  Why would he fill these out so soon?  I know others who only fill them out a few months ahead of time.

My husband had to fill them out a year prior to his parole date. Every prison is different, don't be surprised.

Like Ira said, don't be surprised by this. Some of the prisons are ahead of schedule and on top of their game when it comes to filling out the parole papers. It doesn't mean that he's coming home any sooner so don't get your hopes up but do be happy about the fact that his facility is definitely on top of things so it won't be a scramble at the last minute!
