arielwolff, Unfortunately they (IDOC) controls the Pictures/Mug shots. Look at it this way at least he will home soon and you really won't have a need to look his profile up anymore.
My sons picture looked nothing like him. When I first saw him I started to cry as I couldn't recognize him. Now he's graduated Boot Camp, there's a new picture and yet I don't have to look at it anymore because he is now home. I will keep you in my prayers. Remember we are ALL here for Support from the IPT family. God Bless. Angela

Will they still put a picture if he won't b on parole? He is finishing his parole in and it will b over Nov 3 rd, they finally changed his out date on the IDOC website after 6 months, it always said to b determined.

I'm fairly sure they take an exit photo for all inmates to record it as the most recent mug shot in the database.

If he is totally off of parole when he is released, his information will be taken off the IDOC website, it could take a couple weeks though.

Inmates profiles are no longer live, once they are off parole!

From IDOC Website:
Currently, an inmate search on our website will only return information the Department may disclose to the public on IDOC inmates who are currently incarcerated or on parole. If an inmate has completed their sentence, their information will not be displayed. Their information is still available, however, you must request it through our archived records search. To make a request, visit our webpage on retrieving archived records for information.

I Imagine that they are changing it because they want the most recent photo of them as possible before they are released back into society. Count your Blessings that you will get to look at him soon not a Mug shot on a website. That's just   wc6  . Congrats.

Angela is correct, they do this so that they have the most updated photo of an inmate when they are released.

I guess if he gets arrested again?  Will they keep his info on the IDOC web site if he is totally off parole as of tomorrow.

His profile page will be taken off of IDOC website after he is done with parole. It might not be the exact day, it all depends on when IDOC gets to it!
