Dixon CC???

My husband was sent to Dixon CC November 8th and I figured I would be recieving a phone call from him within a day or so and I still haven't heard from him. I have never been through this so I do not know the rules. He was in bootcamp his first stay and they were not allowed phone calls their first 30 days...Is it the same in prison??? Or has he just chose not to call me? Or maybe I need to set up an account...Sorry, I have no clue how this works...

You need to set up an account with Consolidated and he needs to submit a phone list for approval.  When both of those things are accomplished you'll be able to talk with him.  It might take a week or two...but until you set one up you won't get that first phone call...you'll get a call with a recording from IDOC that you must contact Consolidated first.
