Only the inmates that received any kind of good time are suppose to have their names on that list.  If yout family member served their whole sentence, as in 85% or 100% time they would not be on there.

Did your fiance possibly get his first 3 months of GT before it was suspended in 2010?

The state legislators that passed this law didn't care about your safety or his...they think it's more important that the safety of the community come first....that was their explanation.  I've seen the home addresses on many on the IDOC website...you're not the only one.  Unfortunately that's the price to be paid for the early release.  I don't know if they have added it to the information sent to loved ones about host site agreement arrangements...but they should inform those contemplating allowing an inmate to move in on parole...so they can have the option of saying no....

If he was given the first 90 days of meritorious good time then he WAS released early and that's the law.  Your other relatives must've gotten their good time earlier, before the law went through.  I suppose you could ask him to find somewhere else to parole too...or go back inside and serve his sentence and parole inside...

The 3 months given for MGT is considered early release.

Anyone that got any MGT or SMGT go on that list and there is nothing you can do about it accept thank Brady for sponsoring and pushing that bill through, thank goodness he never won the race for Governor.

Are your other relatives at home?  Or still in prison?  When MGT was canceled there were some inmates that had already been awarded part or all of the meritorious good time.  They didn't take it away from them but instead they passed legislation saying their addresses must be published when they are released.  I don't know how many different ways we can explain this to you.  No one is doing anything special to you...if your loved one is paroled to your address then you must've signed an agreement with the IDOC/parole officer saying it was okay with you.

Any inmate who recieved MGT/SMGT (which was suspended almost two years ago) and is released since the law went into effect, is required to have their parole site address listed on the IDOC webpage. This is only for inmates who received that form of good time before it was suspended.

An inmate who received credit for classes/programs and is released early does not have to be on this list, nor do inmates who get their Statutory Good Time (the amount of time taken off for 50, 75, or 85% sentences).

Here is the statute instituting this law. You can look up the whole text on the Illinois Legislature website.

When did your family members go into prison on their charges?

You didn't have to sign anything for this, it's a law, if your LO got any GT, which you said he did, 3 months/90 days, his name goes on the list, with or without your approval.

Unfortunately while he's on parole he's a ward of the State of Illinois...and very much under their control...I wouldn't rock the boat unless you want to see him back inside...the law is constitutional so it's hard to be revoking your rights...it's something you have to accept or kick him out....if he's got enemies I wouldn't sit in front of a window....
