I contacted an innocence project, who contacted me today. They would like to look into the case. Does anyone have any experience with any of these groups?

I decided not to seek the help of an innocence project because I felt my son's 5 year/50% sentence was relatively short considering there are so many other innocent victims of our broken system with much longer sentences. I thought their limited resources should be used for those worse off. This might sound crazy but I also feel that God has him where he needs him to be right now. Protecting him from who knows what. The situation sucks but how he's handled everything he's been through is amazing. I'm very proud of the man he's become.

I wish you well in your quest for justice but in the meantime I hope you will be able to find some good in all the bad. Savor all your moments together on your visits, calls and letters. He's got your undivided attention and he's all yours now.

pomkinf, my husbands case is in with one of the innocence projects and it has taken a very long time as well to get them to finally take time and read his case through. Now that they are I am very excited. I must say they don't just take any case they are very picky so if this innocence project in which just called you is interested I want to say I WISH U GUYS the  BEST!! It is definitely a good step forward.
