Who to contact at IDOC about photos to inmate?

I am trying to find out who to talk to at IDOC about the pictures that I have mailed to my husband at Vienna that keep getting returned?  My husband has been in Vienna Correctional Facility since Dec. 2010 and when I first started mailing pictures they told me bra and pantie or bikini pictures can be sent he got some and then all of a sudden I started getting them back in the mail, so when I called the mail room they said that no bra and pantie pictures can be sent so I asked about short shorts and tank tops and she told me yes so I started sending those and he got a couple packages and then all of a sudden I started getting the pictures back again and now they are saying no shorts and tank top pictures so I am trying to find out who at IDOC I can talk to about this because it is getting ridiculous and very expensive for me.  If anyone knows who I can talk to I would appreciate it?  Thank you!

Thats funny that you say that because i keep getting pictures sent back and i just tryed for the third time to see if third times a charm. My LO is in sheridan and the one time they returned them they said there was "perfume" on them which clearly there wasnt and i no perfume isnt allowed and the second time they sent it back was because i didnt put enough stamps on. When i recieved my pictures back the envelope was so beat up and torn it was rediculous. Its not cheap to print pictures and if the pictures get sent back again im gonna have to print new ones because there so beat up and scratched.

My hubby too is at Vienna, and I was told the same thing. In 10 months I have sent about 20 "me" pictures and he got 3..  1 booty shot with short shorts and 2 cleavage,
Now seems like everything was getting denied (becuz of nudity) so we gave up.

You call call the mailroom again and ask them. But honestly, it doesn't matter IDOC can say one thing the facility can say another and when it comes down to it, it depends on who is in the mailroom.

I hate to say it but nothing can really be done. and you may have to give up.. After awhile he may get in trouble if they keep saying its nudity. Also my hubby never mailed anything back we didn't waste the postage from his account, he told them to destroy it.

I know my friend sent her man in there some pictures and she got even ones when she was in jeans and tank tops returned.  I think they need to let the inmates know when they change what types of pictures they will accept because it is crazy that they keep changing it week to week.

When my bf was in vienna they always sent my pictures back one picture i remember i was in a bath towel nothing was showing but my arms  once he was moved to a new joint the same pictures got to him without a problem whenever there is someone new in the mailroom the rules change,

My guy is at Vienna too and when I first started sending pics like a yr ago, he would always get them. I sent some in thongs, bras, and sheer tops and they were fine then. Lately,however, everything has been getting sent back to me-even the ones in shorts and tank tops. He said that his cellie got some in of his girl in a bikini tho so I'm guessing that it depends on who is in the mail room, or maybe he just got lucky. Anyway, we decided to just stop trying bc they have really become too picky.

I sent my l/o in sheridan mail way b4 christmas with pictures and cards.. he didnt get a notice i sent them till a week later and a letter stating there was alcohol  in the picture and there is none in the pictures.. it clearly was a POP!! i dont know what the hold up with these people and getting our l/o's there mail but it seriously annoying.. if u want to send them things u have to do it.. umm what 2 weeks b4 a holiday so they do get it in time??

My l/o is in Vienna and I sent some "me" pics a while back...he didn't receive them so I finally broke the surprise and asked him about them and he had to talk to someone about them.  For the life of me I can not remember the title of the person he talked to but anyway he finally did talk to the man and the man looked the pictures over and then gave them to him.  When he calls again I will ask him who it was he talked to but I know it worked for him.  But I totally agree that they are very stickler on the pictures there.  Which I have sent letters with perfume and they have gotten through.  I wasn't aware they could not be sent till I read that on here a couple months back.

Every where is different. My hubby has told me very recently that guys are still getting pics and they are 100 times worse then what I sent. He knows cuz the guys show him. But we have totally given up. My hubby said forget it, he will be home soon and the real thing is better then any pic.

WOW! I would so kick my man's butt if he was showing my pics to other inmates.                           
 It shows you how much they respect their women I guess.
