My L/O has been at Graham R&C since December 6, 2011. He was transferred to Big Muddy 2 weeks ago and his current status is : Temporary resident~Big Muddy, parent facility Graham. He was transferred because he had a court appearance in White County last week. Before he left Graham, he was told he was going to Taylorville when a bed was available. Since being at Big Muddy, he was told he could have visitors. Here are my questions: Will be be transferred back to Graham if he has another court date in White County in May? His trust account is at Graham....he has no money for Commissary at Big Muddy, any way around that? Is it possible for him to have visitors? I was able to chat with him for over an hour while he was at court~ Is that normal? or where the CO's just being nice? The CO's at court that day also told me I could visit. I thought he had to have an approved list. I'm confused. Any answers would be much appreciated.

Call BM and talk to someone there and have all these questions written down and they will answer you what they can.   At some of the other prisons, when guys come in for writs, they are allowed to visit.  If the court is over for now, he maybe  moved back to Graham until his next court date, but IDOC is the only one that can tell you that for sure.  You were lucky to talk to him, count your blessings!
