My sister is incarcerated at Dwight Correctional Center and of course had an extremely rough time when she got there but she found a great friend in her cellmate. To show my appreciation for all she has done I started sticking little drawings in the my sisters letters for her to give to her cellmate and now her cellmate has been moved to grounds so I was wondering if it is allowed for me to continue sending her drawings and now maybe a short letter every now and then even though I will still be writing my sister. She wasnt sure if it was allowed for me to write multiple inmates at one prison. Does anyone know the guidelines on this? Thanks.

As far as I know, there is no rule about writing to, visiting, or taking phone calls from multiple inmates.

I think you are doing a wonderful thing for this woman!  wc6

Okay. Thank you. I just dont want to get either of them in trouble. This is my sisters first time in and I'm willing to help any one of them that makes it an ounce easier on her and not to mention this other woman doesnt have any family contacting her by mail, phone, or visit. And she is a wonderful, bright, funny, caring woman. I have done this with other woman that my sister has had contact with while in there but they luckily were transferred to a medium security so I write to them there. Again thank you for your input.
