The John Howard Association's report on the Northern Reception and Classification Center at Stateville has given me a much better picture of what goes on in R&C.  As a mom whose son recently entered the IDOC system, I have a strong desire to know more about what he's been through, and I know by reading (devouring) all the posts here on IPT, I'm not the only one!  Although my son went to Graham, I assume it was a similar experience.
Perhaps it's been posted before, but I don't remember seeing it, so here is the link to their report from last summer.
