The most recent issue of the Fishers of Men Newsletter is now posted on our website for your viewing pleasure.  Just wanted to make mention that this newsletter is written by inmates to encourage other inmates in their walk with the Lord.  It is a great tool to build the self esteem of those incarcerated individuals that many times have been abandoned by friends and family, and feel lost in the world of sin and crime.

Coming soon to Fishers of Men will be a new program called "Inside Art."  This program was designed by an inmate and will use the artistic talents of the incarcerated, to assist the ministry in becoming self-supported by inmates, friends and family.

Merry Christmas from Fishers of Men Prison Ministries!  The December Newsletter is now posted and ready for viewing.  We are so blessed to be able to provide this newsletter to almost 600 inmates, many of whom may receive no other piece of mail during this blessed Christmas Season!  Please take a minute to read the articles which are written by inmates who are ministering to other inmates in the name of our Savior Jesus Christ!

Fishers of Men Prison Ministries is celebrating its 20th Anniversary in 2011.  As we continue to grow, we ask for your prayers and support.

In 1991 when we began, we had about three inmates writing articles and we printed 25 copies which were sent to the chaplain at Joliet Correctional Center for distribution (Chaplain Tsoulus).  Today, as a 501(c)(3) ministry, we have close to 600 inmates on our mailing list and this newsletter is emailed to over 1,000 ministries, families and friends, giving them the ability to duplicate it an distribute it to the incarcerated around the world.  I praise and thank God for how He is using this ministry to build the self-esteem of the incarcerated while they minister to the needs of other inmates around the world. Fishers of Men Prison Ministries is seeking inmate-artists to donate drawings or paintings that will be sold to raise funds to keep this ministry moving ahead for God’s glory!

The April Fishers of Men Prison Newsletter is in the  mail to more than 645 inmates around the United States and has been published on our website:  http://www.fishersofmenprisonministries.com/media/f54d768d1653d6c1ffff84e3ffffe41e.pdf

Later tonight, it will be emailed to over 1,000 friends, family members and ministries around the world.  Ministries in other countries are able to translate the newsletter and share it with inmates in their countries as well.  What a blessing.

The July 2011 Fishers of Men Newsletter has been published and is available for your viewing pleasure on our website.  The ministry continues to grow each month and is nearing 800 inmates to whom we mail newsletters.  In addition, over 1,000 families and other ministries receive the newsletter via email.  Many ministries in other countries copy and translate the newsletter for prisoners in their countries.
