I haven't been able to visit since January/February, so the garden wouldn't have been there. It's nice to know it is, that's cool.

Did anyone know that at Graham they have a vegetable garden? Hubby told me the other day and they have been eating fresh vegetables from the garden... I am happy about that.
I know this isn't a Graham topic... but Hardin Work Camp does also. I think that it a wonderful thing. Then they don't eat all the junk food. God Bless     wc71-1    wc69

I was at Graham last June ( I live out of state). You can hug and kiss when your loved one comes into the room, and when you leave  There are quite a few food machines that you can get up and buy food from for your loved one.  Just make sure you have enough money on the card.  I have no idea about transportation.  I flew into St. Louis and rented a car when I visited.

I know that you are allowed a hug and kiss when you get there and when you leave, but do you know if you can hold hands during the visit? I know that some places allow this and others do not. My fiance is there and we are hoping that I will be able to visit soon. I just don't want him or I to get into trouble for doing something that is not allowed.

Not sure about holding hands during the visit, I'd ask the guard when you arrive or just ask the guard that searches you before you go to the visitor room.  I visit my son there and we don't hold hands..obviously! LOL
Enjoy your visit.

That is AWESOME!!!!  I can't believe that I am so excited about just getting to hold his hand. I guess it's the little things in life! LOL Now to just get through R&C so I can actually hold his hand instead of dream of it. :)

Just remember he may be in R&C at Graham but he most likely will not stay there. And not to make the wait worse for you but once he is out of R&C and transferred there is yet another wait for his visiting list and phone list to be approved. That could be another couple weeks longer after he is transferred.
