Hello,
I am new to this forum and so far I have found the information valuable.  I am really writing to see what everyone knows about this "Bring Back Parole" article from the January 2010 subscription.  I live in FL and my brother is in Statesville for a long time.  I believe that the sentence was way too extreme for his crime.

My question about these coupons being signed (since I live in FL), if I do have them filled out and signed down here are they going to count or am I just wasting my time?

Please let me know who I need to contact!

Thanks so much!

Does anyone know when the new Statesville Speaks will be out? My son called today and said some inmates at Menard told him they got theirs, but he did not.

I sent a pm to Bill, here on IPT with my son's info a while back but my son hasn't received his first newsletter yet. I'm thinking it takes time to get it started, unless his got misplaced somewhere.

We have the latest issuea of SS in PDF file here on IPT, you could always print any of those and send them to your LO, until a new issues comes out and not sure when that will be.

To get on the list for new issues, send our member  Bill a PM and tell him to add your LO to the list, when a new issues comes out, they will get a copy.

When do you think the next statesville speaks will be posted? It has been eight months. I thought maybe they had to quit sending them with the economy the way it is, but I hope not, because I enjoy reading it.
